Few countries can boast of being the ancient seat and source of modern European civilization. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a bridge between Europe and Asia, and an incredible blend of the East and West. Wide spaciousness of wild and untouched nature make it an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventurers. Taste Europe as it used to be. Old customs in Bosnia and Herzegovina are hardly dying, and the ancient traditions of all the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been preserved here. There are many fascinating destinations throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. The most interesting and attractive places in Bosnia and Herzegovina are a wonderful combination of cultural and natural heritage.


Baščaršija (Sarajevo)
 is certainly one of the most impressive and most charming shopping centers in the country. It has been a trade and meeting place since the 15th century. Sarajevo has a unique atmosphere that does not have any other city in the world. Only a few places on the globe can boast of the Catholic and Orthodox Church and the mosque and synagogue, which are only one easy walk away from each other. If there is a city in Europe that unites the East and West, it is Sarajevo. Walking to Sarajevo is a walk through its history. From the Oriental Ottoman area where numerous pastry shops, taverns and handicrafts shops are located, to the administrative and cultural center established during the Austro-Hungarian period.


The Old Bridge (Mostar)
is the most representative example of Ottoman creativity in the Western Balkans. This beautiful stone structure not only connects the eastern and western sides of the Emerald Neretva, but also symbolizes the crossroads of the Eastern and Western civilizations. Today, more than two decades after the demolition, the beautiful stone structure that overburden the river over four hundred years reunites the Neretva coast. The bridge was officially opened in July 2004 with a spectacular event. Bridge is the heart of Mostar and its reconstruction means that life slowly but surely returns to normal in the most beautiful city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In July 2005, the Bridge was listed on UNESCO’s protected cultural monuments.


Tekija (Blagaj)
 – This dervish tekija from the 16th century symbolizes the harmonious existence of man and nature. Tekija is erected at the site of the largest source in Herzegovina that flows from the cave from a depth of 200 meters in a rock. The course is open to visitors throughout the year, and in a beautiful garden that looks at the Buna source you can drink a refreshing drink, Turkish coffee or tea. This area is also known for its diversity of flora and a large number of endemic species.


Jajce i Plivsko Jezero
– This city is famous for its massive waterfall, which adorns the heart of the city, Jajce also represents the multi-layered history of this area – from the traces of the Illyrians and Romans to spectacular Bosnian and Ottoman buildings. Pliva lakes are very high quality flying, as well as many other sports on the water. On November 29, 1943 AVNOJ was held in Jajce, which was one of the most important moments for the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it was confirmed as an equal federal unit within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
